Because it is a direct successor to Oppo’s Find X3, Oppo Find X5 has many of the same features as its Pro sister, but it lacks a few others. Now that we’ve finished our written Find X5 review, we thought we’d show you how the gadget performed in our tests in video form.

The 6.55-inch AMOLED display on the Find X5 has a 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Because it is not an LTPO panel, as was the case last year, there is no granular control over the refresh rate. With a distinctive camera cutout that taper upwards, the phone has a premium glass and metal design.

The Snapdragon 888 is a year-old processor, yet it works wonderfully in this application. With a 4,800 mAh battery and an 80W fast charger, you get 108 hours of battery life and a full charge in 42 minutes. For the most part, the X5’s camera system is based on the Find X3 series, featuring a 50MP primary camera, 13MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom, and an additional 50MP ultrawide.

The quality of the images taken by the primary camera is adequate, although it falls short of the best offerings from its rivals. When used as a macro camera, the telephoto lens can get down to the smallest detail, although it tends to discolour photos.
