Oppo F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G launched with 64MP main cams

There were two phones unveiled during the Oppo F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G launch event in India this week. They are both the same device, however one has been rebadged as an Oppo Reno7 Z 5G and the other is a rebadged Oppo Reno7.

Both phones have 6.43-inch AMOLED panels with an FHD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 680 powers the 4G model, while the Snapdragon 695 powers the 5G model. In addition to the 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage on each device,

An external microSD card may be used for additional storage space. Fiberglass-leather backs are peculiar to the Oppo F21 while the remainder of the series uses frosted glass.

The F21 Pro has a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP microscope lens, and a 2MP depth sensor, whereas the 5G variant has a 2MP monochrome sensor in lieu of the microscope lens.

The 32MP Sony IMX709 front-facing camera on the F21 Pro is a step up from the 16MP on the F21 Pro 5G. These two devices have a 4,500 mAh battery and a charging speed of 33W. They both run Android 12 and ColorOS 12.

When it goes on sale on April 15, the Oppo F21 Pro will cost INR 22,999 ($300). On April 21, the price of the Oppo F21 Pro 5G will be INR 26,999 ($355).

Oppo also unveiled its Enco Air 2 Pro true wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling and 12.4mm drivers, in addition to its new smartphones. It is expected that they would cost INR 3,499 ($46) when they are released shortly.
