Android 12 phone named “samsung SM-F721U” is running an unknown ARM-based CPU on the Geekbench 5 CPU stress tests. There has been speculation about Samsung’s upcoming foldables, including its Galaxy Z Fold 4, using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor, which Ice Universe claims is the Z Flip 4.
There were 1,277 single-core points and 3,642 multi-core points for the claimed Galaxy Z Flip 4 with 8GB RAM.
The Galaxy S22, which has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and 8GB of RAM, received 1,204 and 3,348 points, respectively, in compared to the Galaxy S22. We also tested the Galaxy S22 Plus, which came out on top with scores of 1,214 and 3,361 points. So it appears that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 has the upper hand in terms of performance. The Galaxy S22 Ultra’s 1,240 and 3,392 Geekbench 5 scores appear to be in danger of being surpassed, while the S22 Ultra with 12GB of RAM may have achieved a higher score.
So, as expected, the Z Flip 4 appears to benefit from the addition of the latest processor. For those who play mobile games or use their phones for several tasks, having more processing power is a plus.
However, we’re more curious in hearing about the Z Flip 4’s rumoured additional modifications. Greater outer display and battery capacity, for example, sound more desirable to the average user.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the bigger Galaxy Z Fold 4 are expected to launch in August, based on past years’ experience. Also, based on reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a more comfortable screen aspect ratio and improved back cameras, just like the Z Flip 4.
