Oppo Reno8 Pro+ may launch as Reno8 Pro worldwide

The Reno8 Pro, the Reno8 Pro+, and the Reno8 were all unveiled by Oppo last month for the Chinese market. To explain why we haven’t yet examined any of them, they’re only available in China. That so, the Reno series normally has a delayed worldwide introduction by a few months, so these Reno8 vehicles could arrive in other countries before the end of the year.

Upon its arrival, you may find yourself perplexed, as the Reno8 Pro+ may be marketed as the Reno8 Pro outside of China for some reason. The Oppo CPH2357, which is linked to the Reno8 Pro name without the “+,” was uncovered in a benchmark listing.

In China, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC is featured in the Reno8 Pro+, which runs Geekbench (the Reno8 Pro has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 instead). With Android 12 and 12GB of RAM, this new worldwide Reno8 Pro was put through its paces. Despite the fact that this is just a prototype, it managed to score an 898 single-core score and 3,555 multi-core score.

Now that the Reno8 Pro+ has been supposedly ruled out of the Indian market, that may just mean that it will be renamed the Reno8 Pro instead.

In China, the Reno8 Pro+, which may be renamed the Reno8 Pro, is equipped with a 6.7″ 120 Hz 1080×2412 AMOLED touchscreen, a triple back camera system (50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro), a 32MP selfie camera with autofocus, and a 4,500 mAh battery with 80W rapid charging.
