For the first time ever, Motorola has confirmed that it is working on a new Razr foldable smartphone name Motorola Razr 3, which will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

On Monday, the device was shown off in a hands-on video (actually, a GIF, but that’s the point). A lot of changes have been made when compared to the original Razr and the Razr 5G from 2020, and the new phone looks more like a Samsung Flip than any previous Razr. In addition to the two primary cameras (which is a 100 percent increase over the previous model), the inner folding screen has a centred hole-punch for the selfie camera, which appears to have no crease at all.

In contrast to the Galaxy Z Flip3, the Razr has a fingerprint scanner built into the side-mounted power button, making it a far superior device. That’s all this GIF reveals, but the leak floodgates have now been opened, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see the Razr 3 in the news a lot over the next few weeks.. Stay tuned for more information.
