Because of the compatibility with a stylus Motorola surprises
In the US, the Edge Plus (2022) is dubbed the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, while in other countries it’s called the Edge 30 Pro (2022). After months of speculation, Motorola has finally released a new Android phone.
For a long, we’d been hearing rumours about this phone via leaks, but most people assumed it would just be the rebranded Edge X30 that arrived in China for the first time in 2021.
With its 60MP face camera, two 50MP back shooters (joined by a 2mp macro camera), quick 68W charging, 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 144Hz screen, and powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, it’s essentially the same phone.
The X30’s battery is somewhat smaller at 4,800mAh, but it has wireless and reverse wireless charging capabilities, which sets it apart from the X20.

There are certain similarities between this and Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra, and that’s why our title refers to it as a “near competitor” in the first place. First and foremost, it works with Motorola’s pen, making it the only high-end phone that isn’t designed by Samsung to support a stylus.
The Motorola Smart Stylus, which is included with the S22 Ultra, is not included with the S22 Ultra; you must purchase it separately.
Among the features of Motorola’s Ready For is the ability to access additional functionalities on a computer or monitor by connecting your phone through a USB cable, comparable to Samsung’s DeX software.
As far as Motorola phones go, the Edge Plus (2022) will retail for $899.99 when it goes on sale in the United States. The Edge 30 Pro costs £670 or AU$1,260, but we have no idea how much it will cost in other locations. We also have no idea when it will be available, although we don’t expect to have to wait long.
To the Edge Plus/30 Pro unveiling, Motorola hinted at a new member of the Edge line, which might be called the Motorola Edge (2022) in the US and the Edge 30 in other areas, but that’s just conjecture.
