Samsung has begun distributing an April 1 security patch update for the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. Only “overall stability of functions enhanced” is listed in the short changelog.

There is a 1.5GB download for the latest firmware version S90xEXXU1AVCJ. Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia are the first regions to have it.

Since their introduction earlier this year, the phones have been running Android 12 and One UI 4.1, which are the identical versions. The March security patch was the first thing the S22 series received in its initial upgrade.

Update size is roughly 1,500.37MB despite the fact that the published changelog just cites April 2022 security patch, bug fixes, stability and performance enhancements. Samsung’s latest high-end smartphones may have seen a performance boost as a result of this upgrade, which has reportedly solved several issues.

Use Settings » Software update and select Download and install to get the latest OTA software update for your Galaxy S22 smartphone if you live in any of the above-mentioned countries. In addition, you may get the newest firmware file from our database and do a manual flash of the firmware.
