“Peek Performance” event from Apple was a slap to the competition

For a couple of Apple’s most essential product lines (the iPhone, Macs, and iPads), this week’s “Peek Performance” presentation was a game-changer. Consider the most important tales that came out of this convention.

However, the new iPhone SE (2022) does not thrill me

On the other hand, the two-year-old phone it replaces has just one upgrade: a faster CPU with 1 GB more RAM, 5G, and new, more durable glass on the iPhone SE (2022). The nerds’ hearts aren’t pounding as hard as they used to. The iPhone SE isn’t supposed to wow, and that goes for everything about it: the dated 2017 design, the low-resolution screen, and even the solitary rear camera.

Apple has introduced the iPhone SE (2022) featuring the Apple A15 processor and MagSafe charging.
Many folks who are looking for a small, basic phone will find it familiar. Because of Apple’s superior silicon, it will easily handle any work for at least the next five years.

As a result, the iPhone SE (2022) is precisely what Apple needs it to be and will sell millions of units. And it’ll be a perfect replacement for the iPhone mini when it’s discontinued in the autumn.

iPhones are now more expensive than they were before.

It’s a shame that Apple has also changed with time. There is a $429/€519/INR 43,900 difference in the basic 64GB price between the iPhone SE (2020) and its successor, the iPhone SE (2022). If this helps Apple’s financial line, Cupertino will be OK. Some customers, however, may find the lack of major enhancements and a price increase frustrating after two years of waiting.

For Apple, the M1-equipped iPad Air is a boon.

Like the iPhone SE, the iPad Air (2022) has a new CPU and a larger front-facing camera than the current model.

The M1 chip will deliver excellent performance and a sense of distinction. But in practical terms, you’re not getting much more than you would have with an iPad Air from 2020 if you were to upgrade.

With the M1 chip and capability for 5G, Apple’s new iPad Air remains competitively priced.
New Air features 64GB and 256GB of memory, which works in favour of Apple’s 11-inch iPad Pro that will be released in 2021. There is a €849 option for a 256GB iPad Air, and a €879 option for the 128GB iPad Pro, which has a 120Hz display and superior cameras. But Apple doesn’t mind if you go either way.

The M1 Ultra has everything a serious power user could ever need.

Apple’s launch of the M1 Ultra chipset finally provided professionals with a strong chipset for their Intel-based iMac Pro and Mac Pro devices. Any industry professional, not only media artists.

Apple’s “Ultra Fusion” design (which is very similar to AMD’s Infinity Fabric or Intel’s Mesh Interconnect architecture) connects the two M1 Max processors, enabling an operating system to perceive them as a single CPU.

With a 20-core CPU and 64-core GPU, the M1 Ultra may be configured with up to 128GB of shared memory. It has a memory bandwidth of up to 800 GB/s.

According to Apple, the Mac Pro will likely get a new CPU in the second half of 2022. An M1 Ultra or four M1 Maxis is said to be included in the deal – that’s incredible!

Mac Studio defies categorization as an Apple product.

Apple’s newest and most powerful desktop computer, the Mac Studio, can accommodate the M1 Ultra.

This is a product that’s both radically different from Apple as we’ve known it, but yet very similar to the Apple that has evolved over the last several years. In addition to four USB-C, two USB-A, Ethernet, HDMI, and a headphone jack on the back, it also contains a USB-C port. Even on the front of an Apple computer, there are two USB-C connections and a full-sized SD card reader!

The Mac Studio, Apple’s most powerful desktop ever, is now on sale.

The M1-powered Mac mini marked the beginning of Apple regaining desktop consumers who had previously switched to Windows from the company’s premium laptops. There is little question that the Mac Studio will entice many power users to try out MacOS.

In addition, there was a monitor and a green iPhone

Apple also unveiled a Green iPhone 13 and 13 Pro, a 27-inch monitor, and Friday Night Baseball on Apple TV+.

It’s a little divisive to look at. It boasts a beautiful design, a resolution of 5K, and a brightness of 600 nits. Atmos-certified six-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system and a 12MP camera are included.

With a 5K resolution and hi-fi audio, Apple’s new 27-inch Studio Display has arrived.
When compared to the 8-year-old 5K display from Apple or the 6-year-old 5K display from LG, these specifications aren’t all that remarkable, even if they are good.

Costs are increased by $400 if you don’t have a height-adjustable Studio Display from Apple. For less than $1,000, you can get a 4K monitor with greater features.
