A look at Samsung Galaxy A33 and A53 5G mobile devices: here’s all you need to know about them.
Earlier today, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A33 and A53, two new phones in its A-series. In addition to 5G capabilities, the two Galaxy A-series smartphones have updated internal specs. While the Galaxy A73 had been anticipated to be unveiled during the event, it wasn’t there today. Galaxy A33 5G from Samsung
The 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display of the Galaxy A33 5G has a refresh rate of 90Hz. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 shields the phone’s screen, which is also IP67-certified. With either 6GB or 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage, the phone has an octa-core chipset. Up to 1 TB of MicroSD card storage is supported.
It has a 48MP primary back camera with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera on board. There is also a 13MP front-facing camera with a water-drop notch for selfies and video chats. All-day battery life and 25W fast-charging are included. The A33 is also pre-loaded with Android 12’s One UI 4.1 out of the box.
Galaxy A53 5G from Samsung
FHD+ Super AMOLED 120Hz screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the Galaxy A53 5G 6.5-inch model. IP67 certification is also included. Powered by an octa-core CPU, the Galaxy A53 5G has either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage, respectively. MicroSD card compatibility for up to 1TB is available here as well.
Cameras include a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and five 5-megapixel macro sensors plus a fifth 5-megapixel depth sensor. A 32MP selfie camera with a punch-hole cutout is also included. The Galaxy A53 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery and 25W quick charging, much as the Galaxy A53 4G. One UI 4.1, based on Android 12, is preinstalled.

Prices for the 6GB + 128GB variant of the Galaxy A33 begin at €369. The 6GB + 128GB variant of the Galaxy A53 5G costs €449 in Europe. The pricing and availability information for India is scheduled to be released in the near future. Colour options for both devices are Blue, Peach and White.
