New Galaxy A smartphones were unveiled by Samsung on Tuesday. Onyx is a new colour option for the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds Live earbuds, which were also shown off with the Galaxy A73, A53, and A33.
The paint job wasn’t seen during the event, but subsequent press photographs confirmed the new earbuds’ appearance. As a companion to Samsung’s upcoming introduction of the Galaxy A series, the new hue will only be available via the Samsung Online Store beginning next month.
It came in the summer of 2021 at Samsung’s Unpacked event, which included the unveilings of both the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 phones. One of the most notable features is a specialised VPU that filters extraneous sounds during conversations and allows just the speaker’s voice to be heard.
The Galaxy Buds Live are even older, having been unveiled with the Galaxy Note20 smartphones during the 2020 Unpacked summer event.
This hue is expected to have no effect on the pricing of either the Galaxy Buds2 or the Galaxy Buds Live, which are currently on sale for roughly €129 and €100, respectively.
