Apple published watchOS 8.4.1 today, a small upgrade to the watchOS 8 operating system, which debuted in September. watchOS 8.4.1 was released a week after watchOS 8.4, which included a patch for an ongoing charging issue.

watchOS 8.4.1 is available for free download via the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by navigating to General > Software Update. To install the updated software, the Apple Watch must be at least 50% charged, connected to a charger, and within range of the iPhone.
