If you didn’t like Apple’s Smart Case that came with the AirPods Max, high-end luxury company Gucci has its own case for the headphones that costs $980.
The Gucci’s “The Ophidia case for AirPods Max is an online exclusive that combines “vintage and contemporary design features.” The inside of the accessory is emblazoned with ‘Hodiernum,’ a Latin phrase that means ‘belonging to the current day,’ to play with the contradiction between past and present.” Also Users of OneDrive for Mac are disappointed with the buggy and imposed new ‘Files On-Demand Experience’
According to Gucci, the case is composed of ecologically friendly materials, has a shoulder strap, brown leather embellishments, and a snap clasp to fasten the AirPods Max. Gucci’s cover, like many other AirPods Max accessories, exposes the canopy of the AirPods Max, making them easier to handle.
The AirPods Max costs $550, therefore Gucci’s case costs nearly twice as much as the device for which it is designed. Gucci does sell a cover for normal headphones for $920, but it isn’t intended expressly for the AirPods Max.
