In its most recent beta version, WhatsApp has made a few more tweaks to its end-to-end encryption.
Users of WhatsApp’s iOS app now have access to a new beta version, which contains a revised privacy and encryption message and links to more resources for those curious about the changes.
There is a new line of text that reminds users that their chats are encrypted and a link to a page explaining the benefits of using encryption and what it protects in the current beta of WhatsApp.

End-to-end encryption now appears at the bottom of your status updates, calls, chats, and devices list after you’ve updated to WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.11.0.73. Messages, audio and video conversations, images, videos, and documents, as well as sharing your location and updating your status, are all protected by end-to-end encryption and can be accessed by touching the footer.
