Users may now check whether their USB connection cord is defective with Google’s newest update to the Android Auto app (7.5.121104). Data transfers between linked phones and a car’s infotainment system are automatically checked by a new tool, and if it identifies any problems, the tool will notify the driver through text.
Use a USB cable at least 3 feet long, according to Google’s support website for Android Auto. Using a USB hub or cable extender is also discouraged.
With Android Auto version 7.5.121104, the USB diagnostics tool has begun to appear. Grab the latest version from the Play Store and give it a go. Alternatively, you may get the newest APK from the APKMirror repository.
Google is currently working on a substantial overhaul of Android Auto. Known as “Coolwalk,” the next Android Auto UI will be the largest update since 2019 and is intended to minimise the amount of times a user exits navigation mode. The new design has already been revealed to the public. However, it has yet to be made available to end consumers.
