As part of RR Auction’s “Steve Jobs Revolution” collection, the auction house is selling off a check signed by both Jobs and Wozniak this week as part of the sale.

The “Apple Computer Company” sent a $3,430 check to Kierulff Electronics on July 15, 1976. Wozniak showed the first Apple-1 prototype at the Homebrew Computer Company in Palo Alto, California, in the same month that the check was written.

It’s possible the check was used to buy components for the second batch of Apple-1 computers, according to the auction site. In the current bidding, the check has a price of more than $23,000, with the next bid set at $25,000. Auction ends on March 17; it’s possible that it’ll fetch substantially more than the starting bid.

For the auction, papers and artefacts from the history of personal computers were included. Among the items on display are early versions of Doug Engelbart’s computer mice, a Pong prototype from Allan Alcorn’s collection, and an initial Apple computer.

Additionally, RR Auction is offering a yearbook that Steve Jobs autographed, images of Jobs as an undergraduate, a signed Atari employment application, Steve Jobs business cards, and other signed artefacts with a starting bid of over $300,000. There will be no further auctions after March 17.
