The latest Fortnite update will be available for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Android, and Switch on February 1. Needless to say, this will be accompanied by a lengthy period of server outage, which means no Fortnite for a few hours. According to Epic Games on Twitter, Fortnite will be pulled offline at 8.30 a.m. GMT on February 1.

Anyone who is currently playing Battle Royale, Save the World, or Creative will be thrown off servers when the game goes completely offline at 9 a.m. GMT UK time.
“v19.20 is quietly approaching (until we just revealed it),” Epic Games writes in a tweet.
“The update is set to be released on February 1st. Downtime will commence at 4:00 a.m. ET, with matchmaking deactivated 30 minutes beforehand.”
While there is no set finish time for server maintenance, downtime normally lasts two hours.
