Samsung stops distributing chargers with its new Galaxy A series phones in the US

Since the Galaxy S21 series phones were introduced last year, Samsung has been selling them without a charging cable, a practise that has been carried over to the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 handsets, as well as the all-new Galaxy S22 series. It has now been verified that the trend will extend to the more affordable Galaxy A series, with the US web sites for the Galaxy A13 5G and Galaxy A03s both stating that there would be no in-box wall plug.

According to reports, the decision would also extend to the Galaxy M-series, which validates prior suspicion that Samsung will discontinue the inclusion of included chargers with all of its new phones. It remains to be seen if the charger-free Galaxy A and M-series will be introduced in more areas outside of the United States, but for the time being, it seems to be a safe bet. Source
