Apple has added a new tool to its Apple Support app that enables customers to acquire cost estimates for particular repairs and service choices.
It is now possible to view an estimated pricing for numerous common repairs, such as broken screens or backs and battery replacements, in the latest version of the Apple Support app. The additional choices make it much easier for customers to schedule servicing.
Repairs like liquid damage and camera difficulties aren’t included in the most typical forms of repairs. A repair shop will still be required for an evaluation and a price quotation.
In addition, the “My Devices” option now has a new text input field where users may explain what’s happening to their devices. The app will then provide suggestions for other sources of assistance.
An earlier version of this text input box showed only after the user had chosen a repair option from Apple Support. To make it simpler for customers to locate the right repair, the new box has been created.
Apple Support version 4.5 also includes minor upgrades such as Ukrainian translation and support, as well as performance and bug fixes.
