OnePlus is planning to launch its Y1S TV line in India soon

The company already sells televisions from its U1S series, Q1 line-up, and Y-series, and the upcoming range would be categorised as the Y1S. This information was provided to 91Mobiles by leaker Ishan Agarwal. In fact, the same tipter mentioned the impending TV line back in December.

According to our sources, the new line will include a 32-inch television as well as a 43-inch television. Given the company’s prior pricing formula, we can predict that the range will be priced around Rs.25,000 or such.

In May 2021, the firm released the OnePlus TV 40Y1 as part of the Y-series. In India, they joined the OnePlus TV 32Y1 and OnePlus TV 43Y1 models. The OnePlus 40Y1 had a 40-inch display and cost Rs.21,999, while the other two cost Rs.15,999 and Rs.26,999, respectively.

The OnePlus Y1S series will be available in two screen sizes and will include the Android 11 custom skin, HDR10+ displays, and Dolby Audio with Atmos decoding. They could feature 20W speakers and connectivity choices such as dual-band Wi-Fi, which would be an improvement over previous models that only supported 2.4GHz.

The previous OnePlus TV 40Y1 series came with the Android TV 9.0 operating system. It also has native file managers, picture galleries, content calendars, and other features. These televisions, like the previous models, were compatible with any smartphone that could download OnePlus Connect from Google Play or the App Store.

The OnePlus Y-series featured 10W speakers, but the new YS1-series improves on this front. Other design components, such as a near bezel-less facia with a screen-to-body ratio of 95 percent and the Gamma Engine, which provided noise reduction, dynamic contrast, super-resolution, MEMC, anti-aliasing, distortion reduction, and colour space mapping, look to be constant.
