With three phones in the 12 series, fans are still waiting for the true flagship – the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. According to previous rumours, this one will have a circular configuration with four cameras, and the most recent information from Digital Chat Station backs this up.
A new look at the phone’s design was provided by two photographs supplied by the leakster from the rear. They also said that Sony will be releasing a new IMX8xx camera sensor with this phone.
Sadly, the Exmor IMX sensor numbers are meaningless. The IMX800 doesn’t mean much on its own because they are sequential.
It is possible that we’ll receive the same 50MP main + 48MP 5x telephoto + 48MP ultrawide-angle combo, but the sensor beneath the primary lens will be different, according to earlier speculation.
