As the face of the Los Angeles Lakers and an all-time NBA icon, the docuseries follows Earvin “Magic” Johnson’s incredible path from NBA star to entrepreneur and community activist, all while altering the debate around HIV. “They Call Me Magic” follows Magic’s journey from modest origins in Lansing, Michigan, to the worldwide superstar he is today, featuring personal interviews with Magic, his family, and an all-star cast.
