In addition to the flagship Dimensity 9000 and 8100 models, the Redmi K50 series will be launched on March 17 (Thursday) (also Snapdragons). As a warm-up for the main event, these facts have been disclosed, and more are on the way.

One such example is the K50 series, which is the first to have Bluetooth 5.3 and LC3 audio as standard features (LC3 is a high-quality successor to the SBC audio codec). Hi-Res Audio certification (wired and wireless) and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos will also be included in the phones.

There’s more to it than meets the eye. Dolby Vision, DC dimming, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection are all included in the display’s 1,440 x 3,200 px resolution (for a crisp 526 ppi pixel density). It has previously been evaluated by DisplayMate, who gave it an A+ rating (for setting or matching 16 display records).

Wi-Fi 6 (axe) with 160 Hz bandwidth is also supported by the Redmi K50 phones. NFC and an IR blaster are also included as additional connection options. As evidence, here’s a hue called “Silver Trace” that Xiaomi isn’t trying to hide. Before that, there was a darker colour option. The “108MP” branding and a triple camera may be seen if you zoom in.

The Redmi Book Pro (2022) and a new router will be unveiled at the same event on March 17 as well as the K50 series.
