Best Comedy Series and Best Actor in a Comedy Series are two of Ted Lasso’s many accolades from the Critics Choice Awards.
The massive Apple TV+ programme is no stranger to receiving accolades, but it accomplished a sweep of the biggest comedy honours in town at Sunday’s gala yesterday. There were both first-time winners and repeat winners, according to a news release from Apple TV+.
Ted Lasso: The Second Season” swept the 2022 Critics Choice Honors, taking home the prestigious awards for Best Comedy Series, Jason Sudeikis’ Best Performance in a Comedy Series, Hannah Waddingham’s Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, and Brett Goldstein’s Best Supporting Actor. Goldstein has won his first Critics Choice Award, while Sudeikis and Waddingham have now both won two in a row.
Troy Kotsur won the Best Supporting Actor award for CODA in the complete list of winners.

Since its launch a little more than two years ago, Apple TV+ has received almost 1,000 award nominations, and it seems that many more victories are on the future.
