For the time being, T-Mobile customers only have access to a new stylus-wielding smartphone on the US market.

With a sticker price of $258, the TCL Stylus 5G is less expensive than Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra, but it still comes with a built-in stylus. TCL Stylus 5G features various special software adjustments including a GIF generator, screen magnification, pictures sketching and storing e-signatures, but it is less advanced than Samsung’s Bluetooth S Pen.

MyScript Calculator 2 ($2.99) and Nebo Notes ($11.99) are among the apps that TCL provides bundled with the phone’s pen.

In addition to a 6.81-inch display, the TCL Stylus features a 60Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. A 13-megapixel front-facing camera is also included in the display. An ultrawide module, macro lens, and depth lens are all housed in an area on the back of the camera that measures 0.64 inches in diameter.

In addition to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G chip powers the device, which can be expanded up to 2TB via the microSD card slot. This phone runs Android 12 and has a 4,000mAh battery that can be charged at up to 18W. There is a fingerprint scanner on the phone’s side, as well as a headphone jack.

TCL Stylus 5G is currently available from T-Mobile for $258 in Lunar Black.
