In December 2021, the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip received the first stable Android 12 upgrades from Asus, and now the company is back with some more.
For the first time ever, the ROG Phone 5 and ROG Phone 5s are the winners. On Asus’ official forums, the updated software is expected to be available for both models. For both, the updated build is 31.0810.1226.57.

Unfortunately, we can’t post the complete changelog here since it’s so massive—and luckily contains some bug fixes as well.
A few days (or even weeks) may pass before the update is available on all devices, as is customary with software updates. It’s possible to get the updated version directly from the official website, which is linked from the Sources below. The only way to guarantee a successful installation is if you have the proper model number and back up your data as directed before to starting the process.
