A follow-up to Sony LinkBuds true wireless earbuds is expected to be released on Wednesday, May 18, if the newest leak from the rumour mill is to be believed, according to the latest reports.

Jon Prosser, a well-known informant, claims that the earbuds will be unveiled on that day, according to the leak. Additionally, Sony’s flagship WH-1000XM5 headphones, according to him, will be on sale on May 12.

It’s too early to tell whether the Sony LinkBuds S will include the hole in the middle of the earbuds that was present in the original model, but a spherical vent near the ear canal is expected to replace it.
