If the black and white plastic of the PS5 isn’t your style, you could choose a pink, purple, or blue next-generation system.
PlayStation 5 covers in Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple will be available later this year, Sony said at E3 this year alongside the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red options. These new colours will be available beginning June 17 and will cost $54/£44, much like their black and red predecessors (confirmed via Twitter).
These DualSense controller covers are meant to work with the PS5 console. Back in January, the colourful pad was released in pink, blue, and purple hues, and starting next month, you can give your console the same treatment. Do keep in mind, however, that these plates have no other purpose except to give your PS5 a fresh look.
For a short period of time, the covers will only be available from Sony Direct; after that, they will be available from other major retailers. It’s a good idea to pre-order one if you’re interested in one of these plates, as they’ve been extremely popular in the past.
The Midnight Black colour has been the most popular so far. Back in January, however, it immediately sold out and was unavailable for weeks. Despite this, supply appears to be keeping up with demand. Because this choice has been most popular so far, one Tom’s Guide staffer observed that switching to black plates made the clunky console look significantly less unappealing.”
