It’s already Pixel Watch leak season, as Google’s impending wristwatch is leaking almost every day, and today we have two leaks.

Several Google Pixel Watch leaks reveal the Wear OS smartwatch

First and foremost, it seems that there may be as many as three separate Pixel Watch versions, since Bluetooth SIG has verified model numbers GWT9R, GBZ4S, and GQF4C. (Special Interest Group).

Considering that they’re all Google products, they’re presumably all variations of the Pixel Watch smartwatches. In this section, there is no more information on the differences between the two watches, therefore it’s not obvious how they differ.

It’s not the only evidence for various versions of the Google Pixel Watch, as a fresh leak from a source speaking to leaker Yogesh Brar claims that the wearable would be available in two sizes, which might explain for at least two of the model numbers.

Wear OS 3.1 will be included in the Pixel Watch, a source says, citing Samsung’s partnership with Google for the device. It features the same sensors as the Galaxy Watch 4, including an ECG.

Additionally, it seems that the wearable will cost between $300-$400 (approximately £240- £320/AU$420-560), with at least four watch band colours available. Even if we’ve heard the most expensive price before, it’s comforting to know that it may not be as high as we thought.

There will be a “limited release” of the Pixel Watch as well, according to Google. However, the device is almost surely headed to the United States, and Brar says in response to his first tweet that the Pixel Watch would be available in the UK as well. Even though Brar defines their source as “quite fresh,” we would still take this information with a grain of salt.

The third model has been analysed.

That leaves one question: if everything is correct, might certification number three relate to a variation in watch size? One option is the Pixel Watch Fit, a previously rumoured spin-off with an emphasis on sports.

The existence of such a wearable device remains, however, a mystery. In response to Brar’s tweet, some have claimed that “nothing matching that description is being created,” while others argue that “we haven’t seen any other watch other for this one in two different sizes” might be the official moniker for the Pixel Watch.

When it comes to the Pixel Watch, there are still many unanswered questions. Soon enough, maybe even at Google IO 2022 on May 11, we’ll have the answer.
