In a Netflix movie that seems like a lot of fun, Rebel Wilson is back.
Netflix has given Rebel Wilson’s Senior Year a second shot, and it’s looking like it may be one of the service’s greatest films. There are some familiar clichés mixed in with a few new ones to give the story a fresh vibe.
Drew Barrymore’s performance in Never Been Kissed is one of the most memorable of her career. What about a spooky Friday? Using aspects from past films, Senior Year creates a new, weird formula that seems to be a successful storyline.
Cheerleader Stephanie Conway (Angourie Rice) is into a coma to begin her senior year. Twenty years later, she finds herself as an older but psychologically youthful Stephanie (Rebel Wilson), who hasn’t even finished high school! She’s in her 30s, yet she wants to go back to high school.
This is Rebel Wilson’s first new movie since Cats, Jojo Rabbit, The Hustle and Isn’t It Romantic, which she featured in in 2019. the pause was timed to coincide with Wilson’s “Year of Health” in 2020 I agree with my colleague Jane McGuire that we should be praising Rebel Wilson’s health, not her weight reduction, before ever bringing up the subject of her weight.
When can I see Senior Year on Netflix?
On Friday, May 13, 2022, Netflix will premiere Senior Year. At 3 a.m. ET, 12 a.m. PT, and 8 a.m. BST, the movie will be released.
This is a Paramount production, yet it looks to be a Netflix-exclusive feature. If that is the case, it should be accessible on all Netflix platforms throughout the globe if that is the case.
The show ran from May 24 through July 27, 2021.

Even though Wilson has the ability to lead a film on her own, it seems that she has the full backing of senior actors and crew members. It seems like Zoe Chao and Sam Richardson, who portray the cruel girl Tiffany and the love interest Seth, respectively, are having a great time on the set of The Afterparty’s newest romantic comedy.
As far as we can tell, Chris Parnell is also portraying Stephanie’s father in the film.
