TV series Snowpiercer, based on 2013 film Snowpiercer and 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob, will end once its fourth season airs, according to the show’s website.

As reported by Deadline(opens in new tab), TNT has announced that the show, which takes place aboard a constantly moving train as it travels through an uninhabitable and icy planet, will be ending after four seasons on the air. The third season is currently accessible in the United States on HBO Max and in the United Kingdom and other countries on Netflix.

The amazing multi-season run on TNT for Snowpiercer has come to an end. An intriguing notion was brought to life by the show’s outstanding writers, actors, and crew “a spokeswoman for the company stated. “Fans will remember it for the rest of their lives because of its impact on the post-apocalyptic genre, as well as its critical acclaim.

Snowpiercer continues on the film’s fundamental subject of passengers being divided into distinct classes, with the core plot initially focusing on the “Tailies” (headed by Daveed Diggs’ Andre) versus the “First Class” (led by Snowpiercer’s Head of Hospitality Melanie) and their battles (Jennifer Connelly).

We saw some progress in Snowpiercer in season two, thanks to the addition of Sean Bean as an amusingly obnoxious antagonist, but by season three, we had the sense that things were stalling out. Despite a cliffhanger at the close of the last season, it’s hardly a shock that the show is nearing its conclusion.

When it comes to whether the show has been canceled or concluded by mutual agreement, it’s not apparent. It’s possible that TNT’s decision to cancel Snowpiercer and Animal Kingdom could be a direct result of the Discovery-WarnerMedia merger, which has resulted in a reduction in original scripted programming.

Season four of Snowpiercer has not yet been announced, although it is expected to premiere in 2023. During this time, if you’re in the mood for some classic sci-fi action, tune into Stranger Things Season 4.
