When Verizon released an upgrade to the Galaxy Watch4 last month, it stated that Google Assistant will be coming to the wearable in its release notes. The Watch4 will have Assistant “this summer,” according to a Samsung executive, who later acknowledged that the watch has not received the feature.
Summer has certainly arrived early this year. Samsung Mobile confirmed early Tuesday morning via a brief press release that the Galaxy Watch4 will officially support Google Assistant beginning Tuesday, May 24. Google Assistant will be available for Watch4 users to download via the Watch4 Play Store app.
This is the first time that Google Assistant will be available on the Watch4 in more than one country.
