Samsung rollout another major update to the Galaxy S22 family

The Galaxy S22 family received yet another update today, less than a month after receiving the previous one. For the time being, this update is only available for Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra models powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor, but it should be made available to Exynos-based models in the near future as well.

A 350MB over-the-air download of the updated version, S90xEXXU2AVE4 (where “x” changes depending on the phone you have), is currently available in a dozen countries. Many unidentified security updates and “overall stability of functions” are included in this version, according to its rather vague changelog.

Samsung rarely releases updates in the middle of the month, so the corporation must have discovered a problem that needed to be addressed immediately rather than waiting for the June security patches to be released in a few weeks.
