Rumors are circulating that the battery, the display, and the processor will be upgraded.
According to freshly leaked specifications for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, the phone looks fine, but it’s hardly remarkable.
Yogesh Brar(opens in new tab), who has previously leaked Galaxy Z Fold 4 specifications, provided the information in this table. Another round of adjustments to one of the greatest folding phones for people searching for something more small, these rumours are consistent with prior Z Flip 4 rumours.

The screens on foldable phones are what really set them apart, and the Z Flip 4’s display is no exception. According to Brar, the device would include a 6.7-inch FHD internal display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 2.1-inch external display.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a 6.7-inch inner display, but only a 1.9-inch outer display. Offering additional space for notifications and other widgets would be a useful upgrade even though it isn’t a huge difference between generations.
It is expected that the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU would power the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Even the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, could be outperformed by this phone’s stated benchmark results. There will be an option for either 128GB or 256GB storage on the Z Flip 4, according to Brar.
The Z Flip 4 is expected to come equipped with two 12MP cameras, one for the primary camera and the other for taking wide-angle photographs, as well as a 10MP selfie camera integrated into the main display. Let’s hope Samsung has made some substantial computational photography advancements to increase overall image quality if the Z Flip 3 is the only change from the Z Flip 3.
Brar’s data suggests that the Z Flip 4’s charging time hasn’t changed either. The Z Flip 3 had a wired charging output of 25W and a wireless charging output of 10W.
However, the Z Flip 3’s 3,300 mAh battery may be extended to 3,700 mAh. As with the Z Flip 3, the Z Flip 3’s battery life was poor, therefore the Z Flip 4’s battery life may benefit from larger capacity and a more optimised chipset.
In the absence of new information, we’re going to assume that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be released in August.
