Samsung recently announced its first ever public beta programme for its Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic wristwatch ranges, and today the first beta build has been sent out to those who’ve enrolled their wearables in the beta programme. One UI Watch 4.5, which is based on Wear OS 3.5, has been released (up from 3.2). There may be a limit to how many people can join the beta programme.

In the Members app, if you’re located in a qualifying region, you’ll see an advertisement for the beta programme in the banner. After then, it’s only a matter of registration and waiting for your turn to enter. Once you’ve been accepted, your watch will automatically receive an update with the first beta build.

User interface improvements for dual-SIM capabilities, enhanced notifications with subtext field support and improvements to the built-in keyboard are all included in this edition. Alarms can now be set in a variety of ways.
