Rolldle is exclusively for the most ardent of defenders.
However, this Wordle clone isn’t for puzzle aficionados who want to get their daily dose of brain exercise. It’s best to avoid this one unless you have an extensive familiarity of the Destiny series.
Unlike Squirdle, a Wordle clone, Rolldle doesn’t require you to guess the words in order to play. Oh, how I wish it were that simple! For Destiny 2 weapons, you’ll have to predict the weapon’s roll based only on your knowledge of popular perks. If you’re anything like me and haven’t played in a while, you’re going to find that Rolldle is quite the struggle.
Intriguingly, the author of light.gg created Rolldle as an April Fool’s joke. If you’re a Destiny Guardian looking for information about weapons and other items, this page is a wonderful place to start your research. Five perk slots on the game’s guns make it a great fit for the formula.
Rolldle was put together in under 12 hours by afpac, but he had a considerably larger reaction than he expected. Within the first 24 hours after its release, Rolldle had approximately three million views, and gamers were sharing their new results grids on social media.
Wordle’s ‘one problem to rule them all’ approach didn’t previously apply to the game. As explained by Afpac in a blog post, it was easier to construct a team when everyone was given a fresh roll each time they played. The April Fool’s joke was just one day, therefore he didn’t want to build a year’s worth of replies in a database. Nonetheless, Rolldle will be around for the foreseeable future, thanks to an improvement that makes it more like Wordle.
How does it work?
There are two settings to choose from: Normal and Infinite. Normal offers up a one-a-day problem for everyone, while Infinite serves up a different challenge every day. No matter what time zone you’re in, you’ll have a fresh start every day at the same time as Destiny 2. You can play as many games as you like in the classic April Fool’s format, Infinite Mode.
It has been revealed by Afpac that Rolldle’s responses are made up of a random selection of Legendary weaponry. All of the new weapons and perks that have been added in the most recent season are not included in this list.
In other words, if you’ve been playing Destiny 2, you may as well try out Rolldle in addition to your daily Wordle fix. If it’s not, it can go in the pile of Wordle clones that you’re not geeky enough to destroy.
