Realme Pad Mini launched with an 8.7” screen and $200 starting price

The Realme Pad Mini is now available in the Philippines, where it had its official debut. You can charge it quickly and it features an 8.7-inch screen. An LTE-capable Unisoc chipset powers the device, which comes with two RAM choices and two cameras.

Onboard graphics are provided by Mali-G57 MP1 on the entry-level platform, which uses an eight-core CPU from the Unisoc T616 chip family.

LCD with 1340 x 800 resolution is available at a reasonable price. In landscape mode, the top and bottom bezels are somewhat thicker than the side bezels, allowing for easier handling.

The 8MP f/2.0 camera on the back of the Realme Pad Mini rests alone on a little rectangular island, with no LED flash to accompany it. An f/2.2 lens sits in front of a 5MP sensor on the front-facing camera’s sensor.

With a 6,400 mAh battery, Realme included an 18W fast-charging adaptor and a USB-C cable in the retail package. There is also a reverse wired charging option.

A wide range of connectivity choices are available, including Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac. The USB-C connector is located next to the 3.5 mm audio jack on the bottom. There are 372 grammes in total weight, and the gadget itself has dimensions of 211.8 x 124.4 x 7.6 mm

Pre-orders for the Realme Pad Mini in Gray or Blue are already open at Lazada Philippines. Wi-Fi + LTE models come in at PHP9,990 ($195/€175) for 3GB of memory, while the 4/64 GB Wi-Fi + LTE models cost PHP11,990 ($235/€210). There will be a discount for early adopters, and sources say there will be an even more affordable Wi-Fi only 3/32 GB model on the coming, although it isn’t currently available.
