Two of the most popular smartphones OnePlus 10 Pro vs iPhone 13 Pro on the market today.
With its 2022 release, the OnePlus 10 Pro will be right on the heels of the iPhone 13 Pro, the big star of late 2021.
Our wait for an international release of the Oneplus 10 Pro will be longer, but by now we’ve learned everything there is to know about this device.
The OnePlus 10 Pro has been compared to the most high-profile premium smartphone on the market, the Huawei P30 Pro.
Apple’s iPhone 13 Pro and the OnePlus 10 Pro: price and availability
It was revealed to the world on January 11, 2022, and went on sale in China on January 13 of the same year. As we speak, we’re eagerly awaiting news of a worldwide rollout.
All we know is the Chinese price, which begins at 4,699 Chinese Yuan for 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. Approximately $740, £550, or AU$1,056. 8GB RAM and 256GB storage can be purchased for $4,999 Chinese Yuan (US $786; AU $1123) or 5,299 Chinese Yuan (US $833; UK £586; AU $1191), respectively.
On September 24, 2021, Apple released the iPhone 13 Pro. There is a starting price of $999 for the iPhone 13 Pro 128GB model, which is followed by the 256GB model at $1,099 (£1,099), and then the most expensive variant at $1,299 (£1,249), which is the 512GB model.
For an additional $1,499/£1,449/AU$2,569 you can have the new 1TB variant.
Design
The OnePlus 10 Pro measures 163 x 73.9 x 8.6mm, which is much larger than the iPhone 13 Pro. The iPhone 13 Pro has 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.65 mm in dimensions.
This is despite the fact that the iPhone 13 Pro weighs somewhat more than its counterpart. The iPhone 13 Pro weighs 204g instead of 200.5g, but that’s still a good indication of how thick it is.
The stainless steel rim of the iPhone 13 Pro presumably has something to do with its higher-end materials. Aluminum is used by most Android flagships, including the OnePlus 10 Pro.
The OnePlus 10 Pro’s Gorilla Glass Victus coating is said to be more durable than Apple’s Ceramic Shield, which protects the flat display. With an IP68 certification, both phones are equally resistant to water and dust.
Those are the facts and numbers, yet there is a noticeable difference in appearance between these two devices. The OnePlus 10 Pro, in contrast to Apple’s squared-off design, features a rounded profile.
It’s worth noting, though, that the OnePlus camera module is very stunning. The innovative fold-around design, which seems to emerge from the frame, was adopted by the firm and is rather stunning. In comparison, Apple’s rounded-square blister appears glued on.
OnePlus’ hole-punch notch is more subdued than Apple’s Face ID notch, which is also apparent on the front. The OnePlus solution is more visually appealing, but Apple’s face recognition mechanism is still the best.
Display
In comparison to the iPhone 13 Pro’s 6.1-inch screen, the OnePlus 10 Pro features a bigger 6.7-inch display.
Both have OLED screens, which means they’re both bright and dynamic. Both have a 120Hz refresh rate, so they’re smooth.
The OnePlus 10 Pro, on the other hand, has second-generation LTPO2 technology and can go as low as 1Hz, while the iPhone 13 Pro can only go as low as 10Hz. OnePlus has a leg up in terms of efficiency.
The iPhone 13 Pro’s 2532 x 1170 resolution pales in comparison to the 3216 x 1440 (QHD+) resolution of the OnePlus 6. However, due to the change in screen size, the pixel density isn’t much altered.
In comparison to the iPhone 13 Pro’s 1,200 nits, the OnePlus phone can reach 1,300 nits of brightness.
On paper, the OnePlus 10 Pro seems to be the winner, but we won’t know for sure until we get our hands on one. If the iPhone 13 Pro’s screen is anything to go by, it’s going to be a challenge to beat.
Camera
For obvious reasons, these pre-review versus articles have to be couched in a slew of cautions. If you don’t put it through its paces, you won’t know for sure how a certain smartphone component will perform.
However, even with these limitations, we’re very certain that the iPhone 13 Pro’s camera will outperform the OnePlus 10 Pro in the long run.
There must be a better way to put it. It’s simply that easy. The iPhone 13 Pro’s camera is the greatest on the market. Additionally, the OnePlus 9 Pro’s camera is much superior than the OnePlus 10 Pro’s, which doesn’t seem to have made a significant jump forward in photography technology.
From what we’ve seen so far, it seems like you’re getting the same triple-camera setup as previously. 3.3x zoomed images are possible with the same 48MP f/1.8 wide sensor, 50MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and 8MP f/2.4 telephoto.
All that’s changed in terms of the camera hardware is the inclusion of a faster CPU, which should result in the normal improvements in image processing and artificial intelligence scenario selection. In particular, we’re looking forward to seeing how the Night mode has progressed.

The OnePlus 10 Pro camera, on the other hand, is unlikely to undergo a seismic change
Of course, none of this is a negative thing.. The camera on the OnePlus 9 Pro was a significant improvement for the company. It was a great experience for us.
The iPhone 13 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to remain a cut above the rest. However, Apple’s hardware was noticeably better than that of its predecessor.
You receive the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s sensor shift stabilisation mechanism, which provides an incredible degree of steadiness in low-light situations. Also included are an enhanced ultra-wide and a new, bigger wide sensor, both of which have a wider f/1.8 aperture. This time, the ultra-wide camera can also produce crisp macro images.

Specs and capabilities
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU powers the OnePlus 10 Pro. However, the official judgement is that the Snapdragon 845 is just a 20% improvement over the Snapdragon 888 that powered the previous generation OnePlus 9 Pro.
The A15 Bionic CPU in the iPhone 13 Pro, on the other hand, is reported to be 50% quicker than the Snapdragon 888 in the Android competitor. The math is up to you.
Of course, in the actual world, none of this matters much. The iPhone 13 Pro is a joy to use, and the OnePlus 10 Pro is likely to be just as enjoyable.
In addition to the 8GB RAM, the OnePlus 10 Pro has a 12GB RAM variant. You may choose between 128GB and 256GB of storage. On top of that, Apple offers a 512GB and a 1TB model.
We anticipate the OnePlus 10 Pro to run the newest version of OxygenOS, the company’s own operating system. Oppo’s ColorOS, on the other hand, is used in the Chinese version, and it is much less attractive even if it offers similar functionality (and arguably more customizable).
In any case, the OnePlus 10 Pro will ship with ColorOS preinstalled, since the two firms have been working together since the OnePlus 9 Pro was released last year. To find out how this changes one of our favourite Android user interfaces, we will have to wait and watch. If the changes are significant, I hope they are little.
The iOS operating system from Apple has no reservations about it. Consistent, but less configurable and more restricted, software experiences result from the company’s stranglehold on the market.
Battery
To make the OnePlus 10 Pro more competitive with today’s Android flagships, OnePlus boosted the battery capacity from 4,700 mAh to 5,000 mAh.
The iPhone 13 Pro’s 3,095 mAh battery is a lot larger than this, but don’t let that mislead you. With software and hardware optimization, Apple phones are generally more efficient than Android ones.
As a result, we anticipate both phones’ batteries to operate similarly. Both phones will be able to endure a full day of reasonably heavy use without the need to recharge.
Certainly, that’s the case with the iPhone 13 Pro. However, the OnePlus 9 Pro’s capacity increase, coupled with a more efficient processor, should allow it to close the gap in performance.
The charging times of the OnePlus 10 Pro are certain to be faster than those of the iPhone X. Compared to the iPhone 13 Pro, which has a 23W charger in the package, this one has an 80W charger included. Because Apple requires you to bring your own charger to use the device.
The OnePlus 10 Pro supports 50W wireless charging, whereas the iPhone 13 Pro only supports 7.5W. MagSafe chargers, Apple’s magnetic peripheral technology, will allow you to charge two devices at once.
Takeaway
On paper, the OnePlus 10 Pro seems to be just a marginal improvement over the OnePlus 9 Pro. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, given that the OnePlus 9 Pro was one of our favourite phones in early 2021.
However, it is up against a considerably tougher competition than its predecessor.. When it was released in late 2021, the iPhone 13 Pro had a competitive display, increased battery life, and the greatest camera system in the industry at its disposal. As a result, every other ‘Pro’ phone has been placed on notice by Apple with the release of the iPhone 5S.
