This strategy obviously includes the release of further VR headsets, and the most recent rumour has it that Meta VR will be releasing four new headsets in the near future.
According to a story from The Information, Meta wants to deliver four additional VR headsets by the year 2024. According to a report by The Information, the first is the long-rumored ‘Project Cambria’ headset that is anticipated to be delivered later this year, maybe in September.
Fortunately, that’s a good thing. The bad news is that the Cambria headset is expected to be an expensive high-end item. For $799, it’s much more pricey than Oculus Quest 2’s $299 price tag.
However, the price seems to be justified. An official Meta representative informed The Information that the display would be high enough quality to read text. Cambria isn’t only a consumer product, as seen by the examples presented, like as the ability to email or develop in VR.
