New iPhone 14 Pro pictures indicate the end of the notch

A fresh set of renderings shows us how the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are expected to vary greatly from the ordinary iPhone 14 series, and we can see some of the main speculated improvements in action.

According to a recent source, the new A16 Bionic processor will only be available for the iPhone 14 Pro. This implies that the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will continue to run on the A15 Bionic chip found inside the iPhone 13 instead.

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, all four iPhone 14 models are expected to include 6GB of RAM, which is a significant increase from the 4GB of RAM seen on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 small. The basic versions, on the other hand, are expected to employ LPDDR 4X RAM, similar to the current iPhone 13 series, while the Pro models are expected to use LPDDR 5 RAM, which is quicker and more efficient.

The design of the iPhone 14 Pro, which is said to include a pill-shaped cutout for Face ID in addition to a punch hole for the camera, might be one of the significant distinctions. 91Mobiles has produced CAD renderings of this claimed design that promise to “show off the whole concept.”

We can’t be sure how realistic these images, which were found by 9to5Mac, are since they’re based on “business sources.” So far we’ve heard a lot of rumours and leaks about it.

The iPhone 14 Pro gets a fresh appearance

The front of the phone has a pill-shaped cutout in the top left corner, and a smaller punch hole next to it is apparently where the selfie camera will be located.. An additional selling point of this phone is the narrow bezels, as 91Mobiles points out. The overall design is divisive, but I prefer it over the current notch, which swoops down from the display’s front. However, filling in these gaps on the software front, such as while viewing programmes or movies, might be a challenge.

The left side of these images shows the ringer switch, volume controls, and the SIM card slot, much as the iPhone 13 Pro series. The power button can be seen on the right side of the iPhone 14 Pro render.

The two cutouts on the iPhone 14 Pro renderings are more appealing to me than Apple’s swooping notch, which many people find unappealing.

The back of the design is “very similar” to that of the iPhone 13 Pro, which is surprising. In the past, it has been speculated that Apple will adopt a design akin to the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s flush camera. There is another massive and noticeable camera bump in these models, though. This is home to an LED flash and microphone in addition to another LiDAR sensor.

As for the iPhone 14 Pro’s display, 91Mobiles says it will retain the same 6.1-inch resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 14 Pro Max is expected to have a screen size of 6.7 inches. We learned this week that the iPhone 14 Pro phones would have larger screens, but it’s unclear whether this will alter the measurement or if it just pertains to the aspect ratio or the absence of a notch.

There have been rumours that the iPhone 14 Pro series will have a 48-megapixel camera and USB-C connection in addition to the design, ProMotion display, processor, and RAM. The 48MP lens, on the other hand, may be put on hold.

Regardless, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max may be in a league of their own when compared to the normal iPhone 14 in terms of features and performance. Keep up to speed with the latest rumours and leaks by visiting our iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro hubs.
