Although it’s disheartening to see Netflix discontinue a programme rather than strike an arrangement with the show’s staff members for improved working conditions and wages, the decision comes as no surprise.
Real-life cooking competition Nailed It! has amateur bakers competing to produce elaborate cakes and sweets with the hope of winning a monetary reward. Netflix users and reviewers alike are raving about the programme, making it a huge success for the streaming service. Nailed it! has been nominated for several Primetime Emmy Awards and has aired for a total of six seasons, including two holiday specials.
The show’s numerous admirers have not lost faith, since four episodes of Nailed it! were completed when production was halted. The filming for Halloween was complete. Netflix is still planning to broadcast these episodes later this year, according to Deadline.
