It’s now possible to get the newest version of this app from the Edison Mac App Store.

Now Edison Mail, a well-liked email programme for Mac OS X, is compatible with the latest silicon from Apple.

Including the M1, M1 Pro, and M1 Max chip, Edison Mail has been upgraded and is now available for download from the App Store. Before, the software ran on Apple’s Rosetta 2 emulation framework, but now that Apple silicon is fully supported, the user experience should be much improved.

A blog post was used to announce the change.

The top M1 Mac applications are out there if you’re one of the fortunate owners of an Apple device that supports a transition from Intel CPUs to Apple’s own silicon chips. You can now enjoy everything that Edison Mail for Mac has to offer on your quicker, smoother system thanks to a new version that has been optimised for M1.

Apple’s decision to enable Apple silicon compatibility is good news for people who still use Intel Macs. For those who haven’t yet upgraded to Apple silicon, Edison Mail will continue to function as expected.
