An anonymous Chinese source has given us our first glimpse at Motorola’s anticipated 2022 flagship Android phone, which is believed to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus CPU and Samsung’s 200MP ISOCELL HP1 camera.
The 200MP primary sensor will be housed in a big cutout on the back of the forthcoming Motorola Frontier. Confirmation of this is provided by accompanying text, which reads: “This is in fact the 200MP HP1 sensor with OIS and an F/2.2 aperture.” By using a deep learning-based remosaicing process, Samsung claims that the 200MP sensor can act as a number of other sensors.
As a consequence, the Samsung HP1 can achieve 50 megapixels of resolution with effective pixel size of 1.28 micrometre. Additionally, the 4×4 mode uses 16 sensor pixels to form a single picture pixel with a resolution of 12.5MP and 2.56m pixels. Shooting in 8K at 30 fps with the field of vision as little as feasible is achievable.
According to reports, the Motorola Frontier would come with both a 60MP front-facing camera and a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus CPU will be combined with 8/12GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage, according to several sources. A 4,500 mAh battery with 125W wired and wireless charging rates of 30W and 50W have been said to be on board. A July release date for the Motorola Frontier is rumoured.
