The Micromax IN 2C is the company’s newest entry in the IN line, which is aimed at consumers on a budget. Starting at only INR 7,499 ($98), the phone is a direct successor to Micromax’s IN 2b, which was released last year.
Like its predecessor, the Micromax IN 2c has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch on top for its 5MP front camera. In addition to an 8MP primary camera, there is a depth sensor on the rear. 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage are provided by Unisoc’s T610 chipset, which may be expanded through the microSD card slot. The phone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that can be recharged at 10W through USB-C.
INR 7,499 ($98) is a special introductory deal for the Micromax IN 2c, which comes in Brown and Silver hues and has a recommended retail price of INR 8,499 ($110). May 1 marks the beginning of open sales in India.
