Kuo: Apple Car Team Must Restructure Soon to Meet 2025 Goal

As recently as a few months ago, Apple staffers working on the company’s long-rumored electric car had “been dissolved for some time,” according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who tweeted about the situation today.

Since the project was authorised in 2014, Apple’s electric car ambitions have allegedly experienced significant hurdles, including multiple leadership changes. An electric car with complete self-driving capability is what Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman stated Apple was working on in November 2021. He stated Apple was hoping to debut in 2025, but that timetable might be pushed back owing to difficulties in development.

Gurman claims that Apple’s vice president of technology, Kevin Lynch, took over the electric car project last year. Lynch, who is well-known for his work on the Apple Watch, joined Apple in 2013 after working as a senior executive at Adobe for many years.

There have been a slew of speculations about an Apple Car, but if the crew can be reformed properly, the car may be out in three years at the earliest.
