The iPhone 14 is expected to be released on a Tuesday in September, based on previous launches, and a leaker has now revealed which particular Tuesday to put on our calendars.
The Apple September Event in 2022 will take place on September 13 – right in the midst of the month, as we thought, according to the Apple-focused website iDropNews, based on information from its own sources.
For now, take this date with a grain of salt because it’s possible that Apple is only using this date as a placeholder. The release date could be pushed back for a multitude of reasons, and the leaker may be incorrect.
This might be the iPhone 14 debut, but given that Apple usually holds its iPhone announcements on the second Tuesday in September, it’s hard to rule out the possibility.
The iPhone 14 isn’t the only device mentioned by the leaker; there are a slew of other devices as well. According to reports, there will be four iPhone 14s, including a basic model, a ‘Extreme Edition,’ a ‘Extreme Edition,’ a more inexpensive Apple Watch SE 2, the AirPod Pro 2, and a new iPad (2022).
A second launch event could be planned for all of those new goods, as was the case in 2020 when new iPads and Apple Watches were unveiled ahead of the year’s iPhone models. On Sept. 13, the non-iPhone gadgets might arrive and the iPhone 14 family could arrive at a later date if this were to happen.
We’ll likely have to wait until September 6 to find out if Apple is holding a launch event on September 13 – though leaks may give us an idea of what to expect first.
