Another big app now supports the SharePlay function, which lets you watch entertainment from a distance while keeping everything in sync.

Hulu has announced that it has implemented support for FaceTime’s SharePlay functionality to its iOS and iPadOS applications earlier today.. FaceTime calls with the iPhone and iPad may now be used to view television programmes and movies in sync.

Changing stations on Live TV has also been made simpler thanks to the company’s efforts:

We’ve added SharePlay in this version to help spread the word about Hulu. A new feature called SharePlay lets you view Hulu content together with friends and family over FaceTime. Live TV viewers may now quickly switch between channels during replay. Try it out by updating your app on your iPhone or iPad to the most recent version.

In addition to Netflix, Hulu is the next big app to enable SharePlay. Apps such as Apple TV, Disney+ and HBO Max already have the capability.

iOS 15.1 or later and iPadOS 15.1 or later are required to use SharePlay with the Hulu app.
