How to watch the Marvel movies in order worldwide

Advertisements

If you want to see the Marvel movies in chronological and release sequence, here’s how to go about it.

As a result of Disney Plus, it’s quite simple to watch all of the Marvel films in chronological sequence. There is just one exception to this rule: Spider-Man: No Way Home.

For a more cinematic experience, we recommend sorting by release date, but you may also view them in chronological sequence to follow the adventures of the Avengers one step at a time. As time goes by, you’ll have risen from Tony Stark’s initial suit beta testing to Spider-most Man’s recent journey to the United Kingdom.

In addition, Sony Pictures and Disney have struck a deal that will bring all three Spider-Man films starring Tobey Maguire, Garfield, and Tom Holland to Disney’s streaming service. Despite the fact that all of the newly released MCU films and series take place at the same time, we’ve attempted to put them in sequence. Because we know when the Marvel Disney Plus series takes place, we’ve included them to our list of chronologically ordered Marvel movies. If we’re talking about Ultron, it’s just one big happy MCU.

Despite the fact that Disney owns the majority of the films in the MCU, Disney Plus does not control all of them (some may forever stay far from home).

We’ve gone above and above for those who have previously watched all of them in sequence of theatrical release. Oh, and what about the next MCU films? If you want to know when your favourite superheroes will be on the big screen again, check out our upcoming Marvel movies and series calendar.

To begin, we’ve arranged the Marvel films according to the sequence in which the Infinity Saga events occur. It’s strange that the films weren’t released in that sequence, but the same holds true for the Star Wars trilogies as well. Even if there are a few flashbacks that deviate from the story’s main plot, you’ve got what it takes to follow Tony Stark’s path all the way to Groot.

It’s a great way to pass the time as you wait for the next episode of Falcon and Winter Soldier to be released by re-watching the Disney Marvel movies in sequence (and also looking at other studios’ Marvel movies). We won’t give anything away, but this programme is set to change the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in unexpected ways.

Marvel movies in chronological order (and shows too)

If you’ve watched most or all of the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and want to try something new, rewatching the films in chronological sequence might be an interesting experience. The breakdown of what’s on Disney Plus and what isn’t is below since most of the Marvel movies are there.

For a decade-plus-long tale, certain plot aspects may develop stronger, while others may become more evident. After seeing Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011 and Captain Marvel in 2019, the rest of the movies will appear more logical.

WandaVision and Falcon and Winter Soldier are not Marvel films, but we can still put them in the MCU’s timeline chronologically.. We can situate WandaVision between Avengers: Endgame (which takes place in 2023) and Spider-Man: Far From Home since Monica Rambeau rejoins S.W.O.R.D. three weeks after being snapped back into reality.

Three months after everyone was brought back to life by the blip, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier takes place. This puts it after WandaVision but before Far from Home (which is eight months after Endgame).

Loki, what’s up with that? It begins at the same time as both Avengers and Avengers: Endgame and incorporates events from various eras. If you’ve already seen Endgame, then this movie is perfect for you.

When it comes to the MCU movies that came out after “Endgame,” “after Endgame” is a good place to put them. We know that Spider-Man: Far From Home comes before Spider-Man: No Way Home, and that Hawkeye follows a little later.

Black Widow takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War, therefore we’ve included it in the list. However, technically, it occurs after Endgame.

After Blade Runner 2049, but before Far From Home, comes Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (which takes place during summer 2024). He is now in the same time period as TFATWS. Neither one provides enough evidence to suggest that it is better than the other.

How to watch DC movies in order anywhere

Marvel movies in release order (and shows too)

For a variety of reasons, we think it’s best to see the Marvel films sequentially. While viewing the movies in chronological order is pleasant, you won’t feel as guilty about skipping around if you don’t want to binge-watch, and the release sequence provides a better narrative—seeing a movie like Captain Marvel out of release order could be more perplexing than enjoyable.

As COVID-19 halts film production throughout the globe and prevents many multiplexes from screening Phase 4, the release dates for Phase 4 are constantly shifting.

Tom Holland’s third Spider-Man film would apparently also include more Spider-Men, according to recent reports from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We can confirm that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be returning, as well as Alfred Molina and Kirsten Dunst. We think this is a live-action version of Spider-Man.

Some speculate based on the following list of movies that the Avengers will find their new commander. We’ll have to wait until July 2022 to know whether there’s any truth to the popular notion that Carol Danvers will take the reins of the squad. Here’s a quick look at the release dates for forthcoming Marvel films (in order of theatrical release).

The best Marvel movies to watch

Let’s say you just want to see the best films, and you don’t care about the others. Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok are two of the best Marvel films ever, but there’s also The Incredible Hulk (the pre-Ruffalo Hulk) for every Endgame. So, if you’re looking for the finest MCU movies, look no further.

Rotten Tomatoes ratings provide us a plethora of information about how the Marvel movies were viewed by critics, so we’ve arranged them in that order.

Marvel movies on Disney Plus

If you want to see the Avengers again, you may do so on Disney Plus, which has all but three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. In addition, if you’re planning a vacation in the near future, you may download all Disney Plus movies to watch offline.

  • Captain America: The First Avenger
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  • Captain America: Civil War

Even while we’d love to see all 23 MCU films available on Disney Plus at some point, the fact that The Incredible Hulk and both Spider-Man flicks are owned by Sony and Universal raises the possibility that they won’t.

To our surprise, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hasn’t found a new home after it was pulled from Netflix.

Marvel movies not on Disney Plus

  • You’ll need to rent or purchase The Incredible Hulk (2008) on Amazon, Apple, and other sites since it isn’t accessible on any streaming service’s library.
  • DirecTV, Sling TV, and FXNow all offer Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) as a video on demand title.
  • Additionally, DirecTV and Starz offer the next Spider-Man: Far from Home movie (2019).
  • In cinemas only: Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

You’ll need to rent or purchase the Incredible Hulk on Amazon, Apple, and other sites since it isn’t accessible on any streaming service.

According to Sony and Disney’s agreement, we expect Spider-Man: Homecoming and Far from Home to be added to Disney Plus in the near future, but that hasn’t happened yet. In addition to DirecTV, Sling TV, and FXNow, Homecoming is also available as a video on demand movie on DirecTV and Starz.

You may rent the remainder on iTunes or Amazon for $1.99–$3.99 apiece at this time if you don’t want Disney’s monthly subscription.
