The 126th running of the Boston Marathon will take place on Monday, April 15th.
The Boston Marathon in 2022 may now be seen live on the internet. Even if you can’t make it to Boston for the 126th running of the Boston Marathon on Patriot’s Day, we’ve rounded up all the ways you can follow along and show your support from wherever you are.
Last year’s Boston Marathon was held only 189 days after the coronavirus epidemic forced it to be postponed. Back to the basics, this year’s Boston Marathon has 30,000 participants running the 26.2 kilometres from Hopkinton to Boylston Street. However, if you can’t get it to Boston this year but still want to show your coach some love, here’s how to watch the Boston Marathon in 2022.
With the return of both male and female Boston Marathon winners, as well as the shift of all other major marathons, including the London Marathon, to the autumn, the scene is set for an interesting event. In spite of the absence of Kenesia Bekele, the second fastest marathon runner in history, who pulled out of the race because he felt unprepared, the men’s field still looks strong, with Birhanu Legese, Lelisa Desisa, and Benson Kipruto all expected to cross the finish line in under two hours.
Seven women have entered the women’s race with personal records of sub 2:21:00, setting the scene for one of the fastest Boston Marathons ever. They include Olympic gold medallist Peres Jepchirchir of Kenya, the fifth-fastest woman in history.
Scott Fauble, Colin Bennie, Jared Ward, Des Linden, and Molly Seidel are just some of the American racers that will compete in front of a home audience in the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2015. It goes without saying that there will be a large number of people taking part in the Boston Marathon, so here are the best methods to keep track of those individuals.
