All sorts of new tools are being introduced to Twitter, it seems. Photo and GIFs have replaced voice as the medium of choice on Twitter. Everyone will be able to create animated Twitter graphics from now on. With only one click, you may create your own animations!
On Twitter, how do you create a GIF?
A GIF may be created by opening the app, clicking “+” to start a new tweet, then clicking the camera icon to open your camera on iOS, and finally choosing “GIF.” Simply hold down the record button while recording video, and you’ll have an animated GIF in seconds. As of now, Twitter GIFs can’t be saved to a user’s mobile device.
- To begin crafting a tweet on Twitter, click the large blue + button.
- Just above the virtual keyboard, you’ll see an image icon.
- Take a picture by pressing the camera icon.
- Under the shutter button, pick GIF from the drop-down menu.
- The shutter button may be long pressed to capture a longer GIF or tapped to make a short one.
- To create a “boomerang” effect, use the arrow icons above the viewfinder to make the GIF repeat from the beginning.
- Use GIF if you’re satisfied with your work and then tweet it. Tap Retake if you want to start afresh.
However, it’s worth noting that GIFs made using this method cannot be stored on your iPhone — only tweeted.
