‘Greatness Code’ sports series Season 2 of Apple TV+ streams on May 13

An unscripted look at some of the world’s most talented athletes has been renewed for a second season on Apple TV+, which will premiere on May 13.

The renewal of “Greatness Code” comes as Apple TV+ increases its sports offering with live baseball and a slew of new documentary programmes. While it was one of the first shows to be webcast in July 2020, it hasn’t been re-aired until 2022.

The company released a statement saying that “in ‘Greatness Code,’ renowned sportsmen lift the curtain on a critical career moment when they touched greatness.” These sports superstars get a fresh look in this short-form documentary series that combines live action and visual effects in an artistic way.

Six sportsmen will be featured in the next six-episode season, according to Apple.

  • Marcus Rashford: English professional footballer and children’s campaigner
  • Russell Wilson: Super Bowl champion NFL quarterback
  • Leticia Bufoni: Six-time X Games gold medalist and professional street skateboarder
  • Scout Bassett: Parapan American track and field champion
  • Bubba Wallace: NASCAR winnr premier series since 1963
  • Lindsey Vonn: World Cup champion alpine ski racer, Olympic gold medal winner, author and entrepreneur

On Friday, May 13, 2022, all six episodes will be made available for viewing on demand. Watching the first season of the show is presently possible.
